The General Education Program
GENERAL EDUCATION: Regardless of major, all students must complete General Education requirements for the baccalaureate degree. The General Education requirements for first year students who enroll in Fall 1998 are distributed among 4 Study Areas and 4 Skill Areas as described below.
 
 
Study Areas
I. ARTS AND HUMANITIES 9 cr.
(No more than 6 cr. in one discipline )
Eng. Lit (3 credits in Literature are required)
III. BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES 6 cr.
II. SOCIAL SCIENCES 9 cr.
(No more than 6 cr. in one discipline)
Hist (3 credits in History are required)
IV. NATURAL SCIENCES 6-7 cr.
(Lab experience required)
