The IYA is extended through January 2010 in order to include the 400th anniversary of Galileo's discovery of the four largest moons of Jupiter.

All observing events are weather-permitting only. Planetarium shows and public talks are held rain or shine.
Astronomy Academy: This is a year-long series of hands-on workshops geared for children grades 3-7. Some events may repeat, so read the titles carefully. All Academy workshops are by RSVP only and are limited to 24 children. Please call to cancel 24 hours before if you cannot honor your RSVP so we can contact the waiting list. Students who participate in 5 or more Academy events will receive a certificate.
