Athletic training student involved in the clinical experience must understand that their role in providing health care will be highly visible to the athletes, coaches, university administrators, as well as to the parents and spectators.  It is very important that the athletic training student maintains a professional demeanor as they work within CCSU's intercollegiate program.  Please be aware of your responsibilities as future health care providers and protect your future by being conscientious of your actions at all times.  The most precious thing that you presently own is your reputation, so protect it by acting responsible both as an athletic training student and as a person. Athletic training students must be cognizant of and abide by the NATA Code of Ethics, which can be found at www.nata.org and the regulation for the Standards of Practice as developed by NATABOC, which can be found at www.nataboc.org.
