The Athletic Training Education Program leads to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting Athletic Training Education (CAATE). CCSU's athletic training curriculum is designed to meet the educational competencies as determined by CAATE, the BOC, and the NATA Education Council. The curriculum consists of 122 credits with 71 credits in the athletic training major. Of the 69 credits, 56 credits are lecture course and 15 credits are skill and practicum courses.
