CALL FOR PARTICIPATION- DOCTORAL SYMPOSIUM
As part of the ISOneWorld Conference, organized by the
Information Institute, Las Vegas April 14-17th 2004, http://www.isoneworld.org/
The doctoral symposium is planned for April 14th 2004. Its participants
will also attend the other sessions of the conference on April 15 -17th.
Doctoral students are encouraged to present papers on their research. These
will be reviewed by a panel of IS researchers prior to the symposium. The
purpose of the doctoral symposium is to provide feedback to the research
projects presented and to foster the links between future PhDs and other
researchers from universities and industry. Besides presentations, the
symposium will feature:
Keynote speaker: Prof Dr David
Avison, a leading international authority in the IS field,.
Expert Panel: Planning for your future research agenda.
Expert Panel: Avoiding mistakes at job interviews
Interested doctoral students are invited to submit a 500
word abstract of their paper by February
23th 2004
to petkovd@easternct.edu. It has to
include the paper title, author’s name, affiliation, and contact email.
Doctoral candidates, whose abstracts are accepted, will be notified by email by
February 29th. Their full
paper (up to 7000 words, in MSWord format) needs to be sent to the same email
address by March 13th 2004
and they are expected to register by that date at the conference web site in
order to be included in the program. The registration will include attendance
to ISOneWorld2004 as well. The papers will be submitted for comments by
international experts in the IS field.
