The Student Center has become the hub of the campus. Built and opened to the student body in the Fall of 2002, it houses the University Bookstore managed by Barnes & Noble, The Devil’s Den Food Court, the ever-popular Breakers Game Room, the Alumni Hall multi-purpose room, numerous meeting areas, the Student Government Association (SGA), the Central Activities Network (CAN) and other student organizations, The Recorder newspaper, WFCS Radio, The Ruthe Boyea Women’s Center, and the Mosaic Center which sponsors a variety of cultural and human-relationship programs. Central is home to over 100 student-run clubs and organizations that provide many different activities and events on campus. Every Thursday night, the Student Center hosts Devil’s Den at 10p.m., an event to provide a safe alternative to students.
