CCSU's Public History Course, "Connecticut
Encounters," featured in Hartford Courant
The Hartford Courant (August 1, 2004) offered
an editorial discussing the CCSU graduate course, "Connecticut
Encounters: Art, Culture, & History," which is an innovative
collaboration between CCSU's history department and the Antiquarian &
Landmarks Society. As the Courant suggested, "teachers will
return to their classrooms armed with true Connecticut stories that will
intrigue and impress their students, and lesson plans that will make
history exciting."
