Billy Griffin

Billy resides in New York City where he graduated with a BFA from New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. Performing credits include the 1st National Tours of the Broadway Musicals "Mary Poppins",  "The New Mel Brooks' Musical Young Frankenstein", "Irving Berlin's White Christmas" as well as  the National Tour of Jeff Amsden's "A Few Good Men Dancin'".  Other credits include the TV show "The Electric Company" on PBS, the soon-to-be released film "Clear Blue Tuesday" and numerous industrials, regional productions, and benefits where he has danced alongside the likes of Spike Lee, Debra Messing, Jerry Seinfeld, and Martin Scorcese. Check out animated Billy on the video game "Dance On Broadway" for Nintendo Wii. As an assistant, Billy has worked with some of television and Broadway's hottest choreographers.  He recently assisted Emmy Award Winning choreographer Josh Bergasse on episodes of the hit NBC show "SMASH".  He also worked with "In the Heights" choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler on the early stages of a collaboration between Andy and singer/songwriter Kate Nash, entitled "Only Gold." As a choreographer himself, Billy worked for the Miss Connecticut Pageant for The Miss America Organization for 7 years.
