As the United States becomes an increasingly diverse and often polarized society, colleges and universities have sought to implement courses to improve students’ multicultural competency and respect for diversity.

Incorporating Equity, Justice, and Inclusion (EJI) in the curriculum is not only a core goal in the 2020 CCSU Strategic Plan but an essential step toward creating a campus culture that is welcoming to all.
