Office of External Affairs

The Office of External Affairs oversees and coordinates Central Connecticut State University's programs of outreach to the communities of the surrounding region, and to the state as a whole. Public policy and social research programs are based in CCSU's main campus, and economic development programs are based in CCSU's downtown New Britain site.

The Office of External Affairs puts the University's resources and expertise to work in seeking ways and means to invigorate the economic and social climate of Connecticut. Through the initiation and sponsorship of public policy debate and inquiry, through the facilitation of collaborations among disparate groups for common goals, and by direct assistance to area businesses, municipalities and communities, the Office of External Affairs pursues the University's mission of service to the people of Connecticut.
