Sexual Harassment

Central Connecticut State University is committed to providing an academic environment and a workplace free of sexual harassment and intimidation. Everyone at the University shares responsibility for implementing this policy. All complaints regarding sexual harassment and intimidation should be directed to the Director of Affirmative Action, for confidential investigation.

Examples of sexual harassment and intimidation include unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or sexual misconduct which carries with it expectation of reciprocity, which has the effect of imposing penalty or retribution if rebuffed, or which creates a harmful learning or working environment. Such behavior has no place at the University and will not be tolerated.

It is the responsibility of all members of the University to comply with this policy.
