•  (1) practice academic honesty and exhibit ethical conduct

•  (3) have comfort and confidence as students at CCSU, including knowing how to access CCSU resources

•  (4) take personal responsibility for their academic performance

•  (5) have academic purpose, including understanding of the role of general education

•  (6) be able to utilize the degree evaluation to monitor progress toward graduation

•  (7) possess skills for independent learning, self motivation and academic persistence

•  (8) practice effective collegiate learning/study skills

•  (9) understand critical thinking vs. surface learning and be able to choose appropriately, thereby becoming more reflective learners
