The School of Graduate Studies at Central Connecticut State University was established in 1955. Graduate enrollment is approximately 2,500. The University offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, to Sixth Year Certificates in Reading and in Educational Leadership and an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership. Each year, the University awards graduate degrees to approximately 600 students, with an additional 200 students completing teacher certification.
