Incoming students are offered a half-scholarship as recommended by the admissions committee. Students may upgrade a half-scholarship after achieving the full-scholarship standards for the program, at the end of any given academic year. Students must maintain their scholarship standards or their scholarships will be reduced or cease. The standards for scholarships are as follows:

Recommendations for Honors Merit Scholarships are determined by the Honors Program Admission and Scholarship Committee and the Honors Program Directors. Funds are made available by the Connecticut State University Board of Trustees, and are approved by the CCSU Scholarship Committee. Awarding of scholarships is based on a student's academic achievements and the availability of funds.

Honors students are eligible to apply to all other forms of financial aid available on campus, such as the Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics major scholarship and all other scholarships.
