            May 31, 2009 is the deadline for schools and districts to submit their application and proposal for the Teacher Salary Grant
            and the Educational Material Grant.

            With our help you can give your school the chance to start or sustain an Italian program!!


It's that time of year to apply for an IACE grant to implement or enhance an Italian Program in your school. Please visit the IACE  website at www.iacelanguage.org <http://www.iacelanguage.org/>  to view what types of grants are available.
You will be able to download applications, view sample proposals and obtain other useful information.
Please note that the deadline for schools and districts to submit their application and proposal is:
May 31, 2009 for the Teacher Salary Grant and the Educational Material Grant.

The Italian American Committee on Education (IACE) is an American non-profit organization which promotes the study of the Italian language and culture from an early age throughout the tri-state area in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut by providing funds to start or enhance an Italian program. The organization receives funding from the Italian Government and operates under the supervision of the Consulate General of Italy in New York.

Three Scholarship for Teachers of Italian (August 3-28 2009)
 
The Italian American Committee on Education, in collaboration with the Education Office of the Consulate General of Italy in New York, is pleased to announce 3 scholarship opportunities for 3 Teachers of Italian of the TriState Area to attend a Summer Institute in Italy, which will take place in Siena, at the "Universita' per Stranieri di Siena" from August 3 to August 28 2009. 

This program is sponsored by the "Federazione dei Siciliani del New Jersey" in collaboration with  the "Universita' per stranieri di Siena".
