Program is considered, "mixed-use", established in 1993.

various other events, are distributed to statewide organizations for innovative

New Britain EMS |
|
New Britain EMS is the 911 EMS provider for
the city of New Britain. In addition to 911 responses, New
Britain EMS is committed to prevention and outreach, not just in
New Britain, but the greater New Britain area. Since its
inception in 2005, the Community Training Center primarily
provided all of its training services out of the New Britain EMS
Headquarters building on Arch Street in New Britain.
Based upon continued growth and a strategic partnership with the
Lions Club of New Britain, in December of 2009, New Britain EMS
expanded its training center and relocated it to the ITBD
building. The center provides educational services and
support to the greater New Britain community, healthcare
providers and general business and industry. We are proud
to be your local American Heart Association (AHA) Community
Training Center (CTC). The CTC is a key component to the
AHA Training Network. In addition to our American Heart
Association courses, New Britain EMS provides initial and
recertification training for the EMS industry including: First
Responder, EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic level
courses.
The New Britain EMS Community Education Center has been
delivering life saving training for years. Annually we
train hundreds of lay persons, athletic coaches, daycare
providers, firefighters, students, police officers, healthcare
providers and EMS professionals. Since our inception in
2005 we have trained over 2,000 students in life saving
techniques. We employ a robust and diverse fulltime
educational staff that is able to meet your specific needs.
We are pleased to host courses in our training facility or
travel to yours. We have experience in delivering training
for small community groups and large corporations. The New
Britain Community Education Center is in the business of
training people to save lives. We provide unsurpassed
