  • Critical Windows Updates are installed. Update Windows here .

For faculty/staff, it required that an anti-virus program is installed on Windows computers. McAfee Enterprise Virus Scan is currently the supported program on campus and is available for faculty/staff home use by clicking here.

For students, an anti-virus program is recommended. Microsoft Security Essentials and Avast are good free products.

Mac/Linux:

  • Currently Mac and Linux users will not be blocked for vulnerabilities.

It recommended that an anti-virus program is installed on Mac computers. McAfee Virus Scan is currently the supported program on campus and is available for faculty/staff home use by clicking here.
