IT Self-Help: Obtaining a New Printer or Scanner (Campus/University Equipment)
Need a new printer and/or scanner? New Hewlett Packard printers and scanners are available for purchase via state contract from Flo-Tech Corporation located in Cromwell, CT. Pricing and specifications by model are available on the web via: http://www.flotech.net/state/ct/
Pricing includes shipping. Orders for a printer or scanner costing less than $1,000.00 can be placed over the phone with a PCard by calling Robin Nadeau at (860) 613-3333 ext 7111. For orders over $1,000.00, please submit a purchase requisition to the Business Office.
With so many models to choose from, we encourage you to contact Amy Magno (x21719) or Tom Bohlke (x20117) for recommendations. They can help you determine whether or not you need a USB or network printer, and make recommendations on specific models depending on your requirements: duplex, extra trays, paper size, color or black & white, etc. Printers and scanners will be shipped directly to you.
For assistance setting up a printer once it arrives, please contact the IT Help Desk at (860) 832-1720 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to provide them with the printer model number. Also, network printers will require an available network data drop.
Please note: only Hewlett Packard printers and scanners are currently supported on campus.
