The LALCC is a resource center for CCSU’s Latino/a and Hispanic community as well as anyone interested in the cultures of Latin American and Caribbean regions.

The center strives to address the needs of the students as a whole; it is safe place where students can be themselves and contribute to one another’s personal growth and development through personal interaction and peer mentorship. The Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Center plays an important role in providing educational opportunities to Latino students, promoting Latino culture, and in maintaining a harmonious relationship with non-Latino cultures.

Here, students have access to a resource library, computers, printing and copying privileges, comfortable lounge and work areas, as well as tutoring in Mathematics and English.
