Department of Residence Life
Let CCSU become your home away from home! With a sparkling new residence hall opening for the 2015 fall semester, Central offers 10 halls featuring different styles of living, free Wi-Fi and cable TV, and a diverse, welcoming community. It's hassle-free living without the worry of high utility bills, chasing down rent from roommates, or getting to campus early to find convenient parking. You'll be within easy walking distance to dining halls, classrooms, and on-campus entertainment ranging from Blue Devil athletics and club and recreational sports, to concerts, plays, films, and the fun of Devils Den@10.
|The new residence hall will be the largest of any on the 4 CSUS campuses, and feature 600+ beds, fitness facility, kitchenette on each floor, large kitchen and living room on main floor and approximately 150 suite-style rooms.|
New kitchens, air conditioning, flooring, and a penthouse lounge are among some of the recent renovations that make for comfortable, affordable living in a safe environment. Each hall becomes its own family with a network of support. The on-going friendly competition between halls for the annual Dean's Cup and tons of hall activities and floor socials offer opportunities to make new friends and memories for a lifetime. Four fitness centers (two conveniently located in residence halls), a pool, and over 100 clubs, organizations, and events help promote a positive, engaged lifestyle that will put you on the path to academic and social success.
