Dear Student,

Welcome to the Office of Student Disability Services web site. SDS is committed to providing you with the support and services needed to allow you the opportunity to participate in the rich and varied life here at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). We want to get to know you personally while you are a student at Central. We anticipate that your academic career will be a successful and enriching experience.

We hope you will view your interactions with the SDS staff as a collaborative exchange. We need to work together so our services can effectively meet your needs. This is a shared responsibility, and we do best when we are alerted to requirements and problems early on.  Knowing about your needs, and your thoughts on possible solutions, enables us to work with you to achieve your specific goals. So please let us know, good and bad, how things are going.

We work hard to make our services and policies “user friendly” and are always open to your ideas and suggestions for improvement. All of us at SDS wish you success in your academic pursuits!
