Welcome New Blue Devils! We are very excited that you have decided to join the CCSU campus community and hope you will find the information provided, useful to you.
This website is designed to offer you the necessary tools to ease your transition to college life at CCSU and to assist you in preparing for our Freshmen Orientation Program. A staff of enthusiastic student leaders is already preparing for your arrival on campus this summer!
All first-year (freshmen) students must be confirmed to attend Freshmen Orientation. If you have not yet confirmed with CCSU, but have been accepted by our Admissions Office, please contact the Bursar’s Office or call (860) 832-2010 to make your confirmation deposit.
Confirmed first-year students will be receiving Welcome Packets from CCSU shortly after being confirmed by the University. Your welcome packet contains important information on getting your academic career at CCSU started, including the Student Checklist which will be very helpful to you.
You will also be receiving an email sent to your personal email account, which you provided during the application process. Please make sure to complete the First-Year Pre-Registration Survey, using the link provided in your email, for your attendance at Freshmen Orientation. Your choice of dates for orientation will be listed in the First-Year Pre-Registration Survey.
Once you are registered for Freshmen Orientation, you will be contacted by CCSU confirming your Freshmen Orientation date.
Keep an eye out for your First Year Guide with more information to assist in your transition to CCSU.
You can begin to get started at CCSU by reviewing the following:

Your BlueNet Account is essential for access to class registration, payment of college costs, ability to view your grades, your unofficial transcript, and perform your DegreeWorks audit to make sure you are on track with classes. Your email will be essential to receive information from campus staff, faculty and others. To activate your BlueNet Account, you will need to enter your student ID, provided by Admissions which is also the User Banner ID and your date of birth. If you should experience any issues, our IT Department will be happy to assist you. They can be reached at 860-832-1720.

If you are seeking financial aid, you will need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Instructions on completing the FAFSA can be found here.
