All of our programming is free and open to the general public. Seating is on a first-come basis. Our regularly scheduled planetarium shows occur at 8 PM on the first and third Saturdays of each month, except when they fall on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Years Eve or Day. Directly after each show, if the skies are clear, the public is invited up to the roof to view the night sky through a variety of telescopes and other instruments. We also offer free planetarium shows, observing sessions, and hands-on astronomy workshops to school and community groups and civic organizations. We do not schedule shows or observing sessions for individual families. To book a special group event, use the mail link in the menu bar on the righthand side of this page.

Upcoming Public Planetarium Shows

On Saturday December 3 and 17 at 8 PM, we will have our next regularly scheduled free show in our planetarium.

Special Events

Students in the Observational Astronomy class will be hosting free public observing sessions, Monday through Thursday December 5-8, 6:30-8 PM each night if skies are clear. View the moon, Pleiades, Andromeda Galaxy, and more through a variety of instruments. You might even get to take your own selfie of the moon! All ages welcome.
