It’s not unusual for students to experience emotional, interpersonal or other mental health challenges while balancing academic, employment, familial, and other expectations. To your left, you will find some information, resources, and self-assessments that address mental health challenges typically experienced by college students.
Resources included in this section are not to be considered diagnostic tools; rather, they provide some educational information for you to consider. These resources are offered to educate you, reduce stigma, and debunk common myths about mental illness.
We strongly recommend that you consult with a professional counselor if you are in any way concerned about your well-being.
We are here for you and we are only a phone call away: (860) 832-1926.
Some of the Self-Assessments may be useful in helping you examine your personal well-being.
If you or someone you know are experiencing a mental health or physical emergency, please dial 9-1-1. The CCSU Campus Police are the primary resource for routine calls on this campus, and can be reached at (860) 832-2375 or at numerous emergency stations across campus.
