The Atlas of P opular Culture in the Northeastern United States is the product of a sabbatical research project at Central Connecticut State University. The atlas is under rather regular revision at this time and many of the planned pages are not yet finished.

Sections are planned on sports and recreations that originated in the region or are played more widely here than elsewhere, on the foodways of the region including festival food, the cultural landscape of the cities of the region with a focus on the major housetypes, and the vernacular regions of the Northeast United States. Currently, as pages are completed they are added but they will eventually be broken into sections.

I can't really believe they pay me to do this!
